Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl flooring became very popular after it started replacing asbestos flooring in the 80s. This type of flooring is generally used in high traffic areas because of its durability and low cost associated with the tiles. Many industries such as schools, hospitals, and offices use vinyl tiles for their flooring needs. These floors are durable and highly resistant to abrasions and damage from impacts. Cleaning the floor is relatively easy as sweeping and mopping will take care of most issues, but vinyl flooring can be repeatedly refinished with mechanical buffering and chemical stripper equipment.
One of the best things about this type of flooring besides the durability and low cost is the fact that you can get the tiles to resemble a wide variety of materials. Would the office look better with marble or stone colored flooring? Perhaps a wood or concrete design would look better. When not resembling specific materials, vinyl flooring can be nearly any color and decorative pattern.
